Discription:

With this Webmin Module you can view all connection based on Telnet / SSH and Samba to your System. This Modul will be able to kill the connection or send a message to the user, who use it. 

Projekt Status:

Version 0.12a is ready.

Features in the first release:

• List all users, who is connected with a console ( includes Telnet / SSH )

• List all users, who use samba

• Kill the connection to a user

• Send a message to a user of a console

What you need to use this Module:

• Webmin of course (tested with 0.87 / 0.92 / 0.97 - 1.110)

• command 'w'

• command 'smbstatus' (a part of samba)

• command 'write'

• command 'kill'

• Bugfixing Problems with FreeBSD / OpenBSD

• Add support for vsftp

FAQ:

1. Question: I got a failure like this: "Failure... The programm 'fuser' could not be found! Please configure this Module and try it again." . What can i do to solve this problem?

Answer 1: Please check the Module-Configruation. If you do not know the correct path try following:

1. Run the following command in your shell 'whereis programname' (example: whereis fuser)

2. Search the progamm by using the find command

2. Question: After Update to a new Version, i got a failure like following, what can i do to solve?

Answer: Since version 0.1a-pre6 you do not need 'fuser'.
